Monday May 13th- Paint class with Jennylyn Pringle, President of Homestead House Company, manufacture of Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint.

Jennylyn is traveling from Canada to teach us, right here in Kansas! She offers years of experience and runs her family’s business, Homestead House Milk Paint. This class will explore all the beautiful finishes you can create with Milk Paint and also help you troubleshoot some of the issues you may be having.

Great for all ranges of experienced painters, from beginner to advanced. There will be information for everyone!

 1-5pm at the All Dolled Up Workshop

Paint with me Beginner:

This fun half day class is great for those who have small projects they would like to tackle, with the help of Abbe’s guidance. Bring a small side table, chair, nightstand, mirror, frame, etc with you. You can pick your color, or have Abbe make a custom mix for you and join others to for a fun day of watching your project be transformed step by step. While paint dries, Abbe will show you one technique you are not utilizing on a sample board.  All your supplies and paint will be provided, and you will receive a 15% discount on any Milk Paint purchase that day.

Cost: $90

Dates: May 25 9am-1pm

Limit: 4-6 people

Paint with me Advanced:

This is a great class for the do-it-yourselfer who wants to add to their knowledge, as well as tackle a project from home, as well as the aspiring professional furniture painter. This is a full day class, with a break and lunch provided. You can choose your color and finish for your piece from home, as well as learn several tips and techniques while your project dries, including how to custom mix milk paint, and make your own chalk paint. You will leave with a finished piece including top coat using hemp oil, furniture wax, or antiquing wax, as well as several sample boards to take home. Pieces from home must be able to be carried up the stairs to the workshop, and within certain dimensions.

All supplies, paint, and lunch included.

Time: 10-3
